The Tumring REDD+ PMU staff attended the 28th session of the Asia Pacific Forestry Commission which was co-hosted and convened by the Korea Forest Service and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). It coincided with the celebration of the Asia Pacific Forestry Week, a regional meeting that is held every after two years. This year’s overall theme was “Forests for peace and well-being”. The conference was held on 17 to 21 June, 2019 in Incheon, South Korea. The PMU’s delegates to this event represented the Tumring REDD+ Cambodia as they participated in the discussion regarding REDD+ implementation at various levels in the Asia-Pacific Region. Their participation in this international conference is part of the Tumring REDD+ staff’s in-service training and capacity building.
