The PMU members conducted visits to the 14 CFs located in the Project area from January to March 2020. The purpose of their visits was to meet with the 14 CF Management Committees (CFMCs) to follow up on implementation of the project activities, patrolling issues, as well as challenges related to land encroachment, land conflict, illegal logging, and others. The PMU members also received patrolling reports and approved work plans from the CFs during these visits. In total, 350 participants, 51 of whom were women, attended the meetings with PMU.
Regarding community forest patrol teams, the CMCs of the 14 CF groups conducted 75 patrols, with participation from 425 members (18 women). Consequently, CFMCs seized 01 motorcycle in O’ Kranhak CF and banned one case of land encroachment, which was induced by community members.
